It was a lifestyle with some hazards. Ashley bruised her T7 vertebra bull-riding, and Shain spit up blood after doing the human slingshot. There is no word yet on when it might resume or be canceled. The MTV reality show follows the lives of nine high-spirited young West Virginians and has been criticized by some for perpetuating "hillbilly" stereotypes.
